My wife always likes to have a bottle of water nearby, so I'm always looking for bottles that will keep her water cold (or hot, depending on her preference), and will not easily spill or leak. Her favorite bottles are the insulated metal bottles, with a push to drink capability. She lost her favorite bottle, and I've been looking for a replacement. This one isn't quite up to her standards. It is rugged and sturdy and has survived being dropped without any dents or other damage. It is well insulated, keeping cold drinks cold and warm drinks warm. It doesn't seem to leak, and it is easy to drink from using the push button to open the valve. However, it isn't particularly easy to carry. The carrying loop is fixed in place and offset from the center of the bottle, which makes it awkward to carry and the loop just gets in the way. If the loop was moveable and mounted so that it was centered above the bottle when in use, this might be perfect.This water bottle is not easy to use. I tried it out before giving it to my 12 year old son to use while at school. First, it is difficult to hold the button while drinking from the opening. I dislike that feature. Secondly, the clear lid gets in the way and touches his nose while trying to drink from it. He dislikes using this bottle due to the 2 issues named above. I am going to search for a better lid so that he can still use it. At this time due to the design flaws, I do not recommend this water bottle.
