Beautiful instrument. would fit in the mahogany dash of your classic ChrisCraft. Accurate, easy read in low light. After 3 yrs use still right on unlike several hardware store gauges before it. However, last night, the damn thing fell right off. The actual stem that enters the body is 1/4 D. brass with a deep thread and center hole leaving very little material. A designed in weakness that ruins an otherwise great gauge. Stem looks beefy but the weak link is hidden.
