I highly recommend this blender!Its a blender wiuth all of the typical functions, the base is very sturdy to prevent tipping, the functions are typical and the sound is lower than other blender experiences.Its an affordable blender that will dot the job, sure flavor is good with the shakes and cold coffee drinks that I am making.Get one, it is a good blender that is stable, the pitcher part is thick plastic but the chromse black base must have some metal in it as it has good weight to it to keep it balanced, I used to worry with my old blender when making ice dringks that it wold tip or fly off as it did a few times, I am not worrying so much with this one as it seems stable.I feel comfortable saying this is the one to get , your search is over.
